Dredger (suction dredge ship) is a self-floating structure, which is equipped by special equipment and accessories for operation fulfillment following to cleaning and dredging of the channels, basins, field development and slurry ponds and pulp transportation to the further processing.
Dredgers are successfully used in different fields:
• basins cleaning (pond, river, lake and so on);
• cleaning of the industrial and agricultural separating tanks from mud, sand and other sediments;
• sand recovery and gravel from the pit; sapropel from the lake;
• precious metals, stones, gold and diamonds mining;
• production of building materials and minerals;
• silting of an earth dams, dykes, beaches, roads and areas for industrial and civil engineering;
• development of bottom trenches for pipelines and cables laying, as well as its washing;
• development of sludge pit coal, metallurgical and coke chemical enterprises,
• hydraulicking in the construction of the shipping and the irrigation canals, the harborages, an offshore water, the sea and the river ports.

The dredgers of “EPOS ZS” type have the new conception of the excavation by the use of submersible pump, what gives the opportunity to reduce a power consumption, dimension and weight of the dredger and to increase capacity.

Dredging pumps or pumps with Jet Ring system are installed at the dredgers. A cultivation of the soil is hydraulic with a help of the water pump, which is located in the bilge. The pulp intake is fulfilled by submersible dredging pump.
Dredgers of “EPOS ZS” type can be manufactured in two modifications:

• depended – with power supply, which is energized from the shore;
